Mickie Morton Stroud - Office Manager

Mickie Stroud has been working as office manager for Finlayson Consulting, LLC since July 2007. Her primary responsibilities are office management, financial management, fiduciary and tax compliance, special events planning, public interface and administrative duties. She assists clients by providing those services and others, including copy writing and editing, web site development, data base management, public outreach and administrative and clerical support for boards of directors. She is a certified Notary Public in North Carolina.

Ms. Stroud worked in the banking industry for more than twelve years as a mortgage loan officer, loan underwriter and local branch manager. Prior to joining Finlayson Consulting, LLC, she served as the grant administrator and assistant to the board of directors of the Harold H. Bate Foundation. In assuming those roles at the Foundation’s inception in 2000 Ms. Stroud helped organize operations, establish policies and guidelines, advise clients and support the board of directors.

Ms. Stroud was raised in New Bern and graduated from New Bern High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Business Management from Mount Olive College. She is a strong supporter of many charitable organizations and volunteers for outreach and fundraising events in the community. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the CarolinaEast Foundation. She is a member of First Baptist Church in New Bern.

Ms. Stroud lives in New Bern with her husband and together they are raising five children.
